Visa Application Process and Guidelines

Visa applications can be submitted either by post or in person at the Embassy from Monday to Friday, between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. The processing time is ten (10) working days from the date the application is received. Applications missing any required documents may be cancelled if the missing documents are not provided within three (3) weeks after notification.

Once a visa application has been approved, collection or delivery can be arranged via postage or courier services on Thursdays and Fridays between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM.

Guidelines

  1. Complete the visa application form online and print it, ensuring you obtain your Application ID and Reference Number.
  2. Proceed with the payment process and print the acknowledgement and payment slips.
  3. Print a copy of the administrative fee payment made to the Embassy’s account for the requested visa service(s).
  4. Submit your visa payment receipts, passport, and other required documents in person at the Embassy or by post.
  5. Include a self-addressed envelope. Applicants in Sweden should attach postage stamps worth 100 SEK, while applicants outside Sweden must include 10 international postage coupons.

STR Visa Requirements

Passport at least 6 months validity with at least 4 blank visa pages.

Four (4)  Copies of:

  1. Completed visa application form. Attach a recent passport photograph (35x40mm).

  2. Visa payment  slip

  3. Administrative payment slip made to Embassy’s account

  4. Approval from the Ministry of Interior of the company offering employment.

  5. Certificate of Incorporation of company offering employment

  6. Letter of employment

  7. Resident permit or data page of valid passport (at least 6 months) of the signatory to invitation letter

  8. Letter of acceptance of employment by employee

  9.  Valid data page of the employee

  10. Copy of Letter of confirmation of employment and acceptance of immigration responsibility from the company.

  11. Notorised relevant educational, and professional certificates and Curriculum Vitae (CV) by accredited authorities.

  12. Yellow fever vaccination certificate.

  13. An Enclosed Self-Addressed Envelope, Registered And Trackable, That Can Be Posted From Sweden To Your Desired Destination.
